  • STATE OF MATTER — LIQUID

  • An intersection of personal and artistic journey. A struggle of accepting lost time while rushing to experiencing what I feel I missed. Here I am in my mid 30s, starting my life as a awakened woman and re-starting my artistic journey at the same time. A journey into queerness, self awareness, love and tears. I don’t know who I was before this and I don’t know who I am today. This is the hard part. No solid ground. I often feel like I’m inside a tornado.

Faces, objects, feelings are flying around me in an immense chaos. Sometimes I’m thrown around with them and other times I am rooted firmly on the ground. It’s liquid, changing, fluid. Even in the most solid state. And there lies the alignment with the artistic journey. I don’t know my art yet. I keep trying things. Grabbing onto them as they fly by inside that tornado. Sometimes I’m able to hold on to one for a while, other times I lose track of it in the chaos. Spill V1. It’s a version, the now, the never perfect.
