Polina is an artist with roots in Ukraine, Georgia, raised in Russia. A life long immigrant with an ongoing identity crisis. She works in the intersection of softness with being loud, rough textures and clean lines.

To her, everything is a canvas - found objects, clothing, conventional and unconventional materials. She works under the concept of artistic interventions, on anything with anything.

She is an artist depicting a new set of spatial relationships (geometries) and cultural representations (especially gender and sexuality) that confront you to redefine your subjectivity.
“I have an unbreakable connection to my hands that enables a lot of trust to make anything.

A big part of my philosophy includes respecting and admiring the environment in the process of making. I use existing garments to make new creations, find materials that would have been discarded otherwise, search low and high for inspiration in my surroundings.

Lately, I’ve been experimenting in making clothes, costumes and garments. Resulting in some projects that were made their way on stages and watchful eyes of audiences”
